More often than not, women choose the car, hospital, school, bank, clothing, food (and more) for their immediate family. Women are also typically the primary care giver for their aging parents. Whether they realize it or not, women’s daily purchasing choices create big change.

That’s SPENDING Power.

For the 18 th straight year, women have earned 57% of the bachelor’s degrees awarded by U.S. colleges 1 . As women improve their education, their wages increase and their life expectancy grows. MEET THE FOUNDER

TRACY KLINKROTH

Next up? Her grand entrance into the world of marketing.
After excelling at boutique research firms and big ad agencies in Boston and Seattle, Tracy re-routed her course in 1997. She got laid off and broke up with her boyfriend of four years in the same week. But this girl didn’t stay on the couch with a pint of Häagen-Dazs for long.She reasoned, “If my former bosses could start a research firm, I can, too.” How’s that for a bounce-back? Tracy soon launched Epiphany Research, implementing studies for companies like Starbucks and Capital One.

Six years later, she became inspired by the stylish, influential (and dare we say kick-ass?) ladies doing big things all around her, and ChickChat was born. Now Tracy matches smart, honest women with some of the biggest brands out there. Think New Balance, eHarmony, Oregon Chai, Frito Lay … this girl’s got connections.
